Dude!  It’s raining AGAIN!  I finally finished my printer project (we replaced 111 printers that took 27 different toner cartridges, with 3 different models!)  I did manage to go to the gym on Tuesday, then again after school today.  They have a really cool cardio machine there.

They have these Net Expresso machines that are really cool!  I have ridden the other exercise bikes, but they just don’t feel right, so I don’t usually ride them.  This bike, however has other riders, hills, gears that you have to change to keep your cadence where you want it, a pacer, etc.  It also works with my Polar HR strap AND it shows both instantaneous power and average power!  I’m not quite sure how accurate, since I don’t have power on my bike.  I’ve been averaging 200-210 watts for a 45 minute ride!

Brian is having trainer parties on Tuesday and Thursday nights now, but I think I’m going to play with the machines at the gym for right now.

Oh well, tomorrow looks OK, so I might get a quick ride in after work.  Saturday and Sunday both look good, and next week, I have Tuesday off, so I might get some riding in then.

For all my Facebook friends out there, this is a weigh in.  I’m taking part in a “Biggest Loser” contest at school, and I find that I can lose weight more effectively if I am accountable, so, every week, I post my weight on my blog ( www.leemoweb.com/blog).

WOW!  The weather got cold, work got busy, it’s DARK at 6:30!  Did I mention the wind???  What’s up with that?  The century got “winded” out this past weekend–the folks that did it reported 35+mph winds!  I’m glad I took the pass on that!  Anyway, I ended up having a great time at THE Halloween party, but I managed to ride Sunday morning anyway!

Well, it looks like the Between the Waters Century planned for this weekend is a bust!  I was going to register/pay there, but looking at the forecast for 18mph winds and rain in the morning, kicking up to 24 by 11:00… with rain increasing through the afternoon.  I can ride in the cold rain at home…as a matter of fact, there’s LESS of a chance of rain  (and wind!) here!  If I’d paid, I’d probably try to go do part of the ride, but since I’m not invested…

Anyway…I just finished 25 miles around home tonight. If it’s not raining in the morning, I’m going to try to get in 20-40 miles (depending on the weather). If it’s raining I’ll go to the gym and do some work around the house.  Sunday, however…I’m interested in going long, but I have a time constraint. I can do 35ish? on Sunday. Both Les and Dave are interested in going long.
